Illinois State University Police Department
The Illinois State University Police Department strives to be a microcosm of the community it serves. Outreach is the "hallmark," with numerous programs being offered by the department to enhance both a sense of understanding and community. Environmental Health and Safety
The mission of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) is to serve as the campus advocate for environmental health and safety issues; to continually seek and support improvements in conditions and practices designed to minimize the risk of incidents which may result in injuries, illnesses and/or property loss on campus and/or during university business and activities. The ultimate objective is to foster a safety-minded culture committed to protecting the well-being of employees, students and visitors to our campus. The EHS website is a resource to the University’s emergency response and planning, EHS programs and services, fire and life safety, and EHS research and lab safety.
Office of General Counsel
The Office of General Counsel provides legal advice and representation to administrators, faculty, and staff regarding federal and state laws and regulations, and University policies and procedures, as well as other legal matters arising from the business operations of Illinois State University. Dean of Students Office
Through a variety of services, solutions, and support, the Dean of Students Office helps students apply what they learn in the classroom to real-life practice. Whether they are interested in joining or starting a registered student organization, participating in service learning experiences, or seeking to develop their leadership skills, the Dean of Students Office helps students find their way as they discover their passion at Illinois State. The Dean of Students Office also serves as a student support network by providing advocacy, problem resolution, and crisis intervention for those times when additional support is needed.
